The best way to learn, is to see
ISCA utilises the rich history and culture of the UK to instil a thirst for travel in middle and upper school students. By offering them the chance for fun and safe international travel, our programs allow students not only to learn about the culture and history of the UK by seeing the historic and modern sites of the country, but also to experience the wonders of international travel.
Although all our students speak English, they come from around the globe. Therefore they are not just learning about British culture, but about that of their contemporaries globally. Such international exposure prepares the students for the global economy that they will grow up in and ultimately become leaders of.
Set up in 1982, ISCA has over 35 years experience of bringing groups of students to the UK. Our founder, Richard Woods, was himself Head of a number of middle schools, giving him the expertise to craft a program perfect for the middle school student. Our longevity also means that we are well-known so there is no queuing, no fuss and nothing unpredictable when we travel off campus. This allows us to deliver a high quality and very safe service.
During the Summer Program our UK staff will lead the tours when we are off campus and run the activities during our on-campus days. All our staff are qualified teachers or counsellors chosen for their experience of working with middle schoolers. They are committed to giving the students a thorough understanding and experience of British culture, whether through the history of the places we visit or through the sports and activities we do on campus.
