Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

First On-Campus Day

It was a beautiful summers day, perfect for some traditional English sporting activities.

Football, although familiar to most, gave everyone a chance to show their prowess and skill. Everyone also had their first chance to experience some of the more obscure sports on offer, the groups tried rugby and cricket- perhaps a few Jonny Wilkinsons or Alastair Cooks were born. The students also learned netball, squash and fives.

Besides sports drama was on offer, creative juices were flowing and some Shakespearean-esque performances were seen.

The fantastic day ended with the perfect crescendo- a workshop exploring the history of HMS Victory and Lord Nelson. This has teed-up tomorrow’s excursion to Portsmouth in the best possible way.
