Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

Fourth On-Campus Day

As we lead into the end of our second week on ISCA, our on campus day routine is finely tuned and camp is running like clock work.

We woke up, ate a filling English breakfast and made our way down to the ISCA garden to begin the days sporting activities. Today, sports ranged from Aussie rules (an interesting take on Rugby), rounders (a traditional English ball game) to tennis, volleyball, hockey and ultimate frisbee.

We mellowed into the evening with interesting workshops on Canterbury, where we will tour in a couple of days time. The work shops included presentations, plays, stories and mini constructions of the famous Canterbury Cathedral!

Finally, we are going to bed in anticipation of our trip to London tomorrow, featuring Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, St James’ Park and Hampton Court Palace. If there’s one trip on ISCA that’ll make you feel as though you’re living the life of true British Royalty, tomorrow is the day.
