Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our ISCA Friends

It does not seem that long ago when our 2014 summer program was in full swing and the students were bathing in the unusual heat of an English summer.

This summer the usual trips were on offer to our intrepid explorers including the panoramic views of London from atop the London Eye, a trip to the Roman Baths and Stonehenge on a glorious English summers day, the Tower of London, a tour and workshop at the Globe Theatre, and travelling down the River Thames from Windsor to Runneymede on an old steamboat.

We continued our incredibly popular visit to the Harry Potter Studios, boating on Canterbury’s River Stour, and experiencing the West End production of War Horse. The on-campus days were as popular as ever and gave a variety of opportunities from making new friends to experiencing English sports such as soccer, rugby and cricket, the treasure trail embracing the whole of the campus, the sizzling barbecues and the ever-popular dances.

We are currently preparing for next summer and it promises to be our biggest and best ISCA summer yet, with more schools, from more countries, promoting than ever before. We are all looking forward to meeting those booked on to the 2015 program and to sharing the unique and unforgettable experience of an ISCA summer. For others who may not be coming in 2015, we look forward to being able to tell you more about ISCA and hopefully host a group from your school in the future.

However, before then we have other celebrations and all of us at ISCA would like to take this opportunity of wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best wishes

ISCA
