Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

ISCA: Scotland is only open to those students who participated in ISCA 2017. Students from the Wellington and Charterhouse campuses will come together for this unique program, 18 months on from ISCA 2017.

This is not a program for individual schools but rather for one ISCA group from the 2017 program. Our most experienced international teachers from schools in Argentina, Brazil, Peru and the USA will be chaperoning the students on their flight to Edinburgh. Once the students and chaperones land in Scotland they will be met by many of the senior ISCA Staff who worked at Wellington and Charterhouse this summer. The program will then run as one ISCA group. So it doesn’t matter if your school has 1 student, or 20 students, everyone will be together as one group.

School Visits

As with any ISCA program we want to be able to present ISCA: Scotland and answer your questions in person. Therefore our Managing Director, Luke Liddle, will be visiting the USA between 26 February and 2 March 2018 and South America in late March. The leader of your ISCA 2018 group will be in touch with Luke to arrange an informational meeting so you can share memories of ISCA 2017 and hear all about the Scotland Program. This meeting will only be open to families from ISCA 2017.

We are very aware that this program will not be possible for everyone and are taking every step possible to keep the cost down. Our final price will be confirmed in February 2018 but parents should expect it to be around 65% of the cost of the summer program. Any student wishing to participate might wish to remember that we have Christmas and Birthdays between now and December 2018, so perhaps these events could be used as ways of providing this unique opportunity.

We will expect the initial sign-up to be at the end of March 2018 with a 30% deposit payable by the middle of April 2018 and then a 70% balancing payment by the end of September 2018.
