Day Three – London Eye and Tower of London

Today saw Charterhouse venture into the City of London for the first time, the excitement on the coaches was palpable. We saw many famous sites on the route, such as MI6, Battersea power station and the houses of parliament. The first stop was the infamous Tower of London were they saw the crown joules, the white tower and the ravens. Everybody got the chance to speak to the yeoman warders who were full of myths and legends about the tower.

Instead of hopping on the buses of London, the students had the experience of an amazing boat tour down the Thames which they really enjoyed. The final stop of the day was the London eye which gave an amazing view of the whole City up high. The experience lasted about 30 minutes were they had the opportunity to take photos with new friends overlooking the amazing spectacles London had to offer.

Tomorrow we have our first on campus day, which gives the students the opportunity to play sports and prepare themselves for HMS victory.
