Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

Day One – Charterhouse

The start of another epic ISCA adventure! Today students from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Peru and United States have arrived into a blossoming Charterhouse campus. Those who arrived in good time began with games of volleyball in the summer sun, until lunch in the Hogwarts-esque main hall was ready. This was followed by a campus walk allowing everyone to engage with the history of an institution that has stood since 1611. After long flights students stretched their legs with a wander down to the village of Godalming, the first of many quintessentially British experiences. In the evening the first house meetings were held and this gave everyone the chance to overview the next three weeks.

Tomorrow we have the first off-campus day with the group heading to, the ancient capital of England, Winchester. Let the touring begin!
