Day 6 – Stratford-Upon-Avon
After a long coach drive, we got to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of the iconic playwright William Shakespeare! We visited the house where he lived, also saw the three main theaters in Stratford owned by the Royal Shakespeare Company Theater and walked past Shakespeare’s family home and the schoolroom in which he received his education. Besides, we also visited Holy Trinity Church, a beautiful church in which this very well known poet was baptized and where he is currently buried as well. After that, students got some free time to enjoy and explore the town.
