45 Years of Inspiring Young People

In 2027, ISCA proudly celebrates 45 years of inspiring young people from around the world.

Designed exclusively for 12 to 15-year-old students, ISCA Global is far more than a summer camp. It is a carefully structured, fully supported international experience that blends British history, culture and sport with meaningful global friendships – all within a safe, nurturing environment.

Why Choose ISCA?

A Transformational Global Experience

ISCA brings together English-speaking school groups from across the world, creating an immersive international community where students:

  • – Explore Britain’s rich history and culture
  • – Build confidence and independence
  • – Develop leadership and collaboration skills
  • – Form lasting global friendships
  • – Develop resilience and responsibility

Students don’t just visit the UK – they experience it, reflect on it, and become active participants in their own learning journey.

“I learnt so much about British culture and history, whilst having so much fun! I now even have friends in Brazil, Peru, and other parts of the States!”

Experiential Learning at the Heart of ISCA

Our programme combines challenge with discovery, using real places, performances and experiences to bring British history and culture to life. Every visit, workshop and activity is carefully connected, helping students build a clear understanding of the bigger cultural and historical story. Students are encouraged to be curious, to ask questions, make connections, and reflect on what they see and experience, turning moments of discovery into lasting learning.

Learning is reinforced through:

  • – Exploring over 30 sights
  • – The ISCA Explorer and Google Classroom which support enquiry, reflection and consolidation
  • – Interactive workshops
  • – Team presentations
  • – Guided research activities
  • – Structured reflection sessions
  • – An Interactive Drama Workshop at The Globe Theatre

Students return home not only with memories, but with tangible evidence of their academic and personal growth.

A Three-Day Cycle

Our summer camp follows the same structure throughout the programme. Two days off campus, followed by one day on campus.

ISCA Off Campus

During ISCA we always travel on private coaches from our campus to the best landmark sites, including:

  • Historic: Stonehenge, Roman Baths, Arundel Castle, Tower of London, HMS Victory, Houses of Parliament
  • Cultural: Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, River Thames, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
  • Modern: London Eye, Science Museum, Covent Garden, see a West End Show

Check out The ISCA Explorer for a detailed look at the history of the sites we visit. Check out our full itinerary here.

ISCA On Campus: Sport, Creativity & Community

Sport is a key part of campus life, with students introduced to a range of sports and activities including cricket, netball, squash, football, rugby, hockey, tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, Eton fives, drama, swimming, yoga and lots more. These activities encourage teamwork, confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community while giving students the opportunity to try something new.

ISCA Enrichment Programmes

Students will personalise their on-campus experience through our brand new elective enrichment programme. Designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, these electives allow students to choose from a range of specialist courses that complement their core studies and help develop practical, real-world skills. The programme emphasises reflection, portfolio-building, and transferable skills that support international curricula, including the IB Middle Years Programme.

Example programmes include: Creative Writing: Place and Identity; Art, Meaning and Interpretation; Music, Culture and Identity; Photography and Visual Storytelling; Global Ethics and Big Questions; Media, Influence and the Modern World; Reading Cultures: Books, Britain and the Wider World.

Our Campus

In 2027, ISCA will operate two separate programmes at our exceptional British boarding school campus, Cranleigh School.

This prestigious independent school is set in beautiful countryside just 35 miles south-west of London. Cranleigh is renowned for its historic buildings, but equally for its fantastic modern facilities, providing an inspiring and secure environment for our students.

Fully Inclusive & Fully Supported

We understand that organising an international school trip is a major responsibility for teachers and school leaders.

That’s why ISCA manages every aspect of the programme:

  • – Accompanied return flights
  • – Airport transfers in the UK
  • – Accommodation and meals
  • – Private coach travel
  • – Entrance fees and guided visits
  • – Evening entertainment
  • – Full on-campus activity programme including sports & the ISCA Enrichment Programme

Once in the UK, the ISCA team fully manages the itinerary – allowing teachers to focus on supporting and enjoying the experience with their students.

Many partner schools return year after year because they trust the quality, safety and educational impact of the programme.

Parents are strongly advised to take out additional travel insurance to include trip cancellation, trip interruption, loss of baggage and emergency medical cover. This should be arranged independently.

Safeguarding & Security

Student welfare is our highest priority.

  • – 1 member of staff for every 5 students
  • – All staff are background checked
  • – Comprehensive safeguarding training
  • – Designated Safeguarding Lead on campus 24/7
  • – 24-hour supervision
  • – Structured risk assessments for all activities

ISCA carries Public Liability and Employer’s Liability insurance. We are also a member of Protected Trust Services. PTS holds parent funds in a trust account to ensure their money is secure and completely protected against the failure of the company and/or any of its suppliers.

Flexible Programme Options

Schools may choose to join our two-week or three-week summer camp.

Both begin on 12 July 2027, with flights leaving your home country on Sunday 11 July.

  • – Britain in Focus: History, Culture & Modern Life
  • – The Magic of a British Christmas: Past and Present
  • – Future Skills: Leadership & Entrepreneurship
  • – The Great ISCA Bake Off
