ISCA Scotland Day One – Arrival and Calton Hill
Today was the first day of our brand new programme – ISCA Scotland. And oh what a day it was. All the flights arrived safely and on time so the students were able to get their first taste of Scotland with an afternoon stroll from the hotel, along Princes Street, past the Christmas Markets and the Scott Monument to Calton Hill. Calton Hill is Edinburgh’s acropolis with a number of monuments including the National Monument of Scotland, the Nelson Monument and the City Observatory. At the top we had spectacular views of Edinburgh in the glorious sunshine. We then went back to the hotel for a rest, lots of games and dinner. All the students are now in bed, ready for their first trip out of Edinburgh to the home of golf, St Andrews. Let’s hope the sunshine keeps shining!
