ISCA Visit Stratford-Upon-Avon 2014
Today the ISCA group embarked on the journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. With the sun shining, groups split off to visit the home of the Royal Shakespeare Company, including a fascinating tour of the historical theatre and even an opportunity to try on some of the intricate costumes and wigs featured in their famous performances. Before exploring the historical town, a tour was taken of the house that Shakespeare grew up in, providing an insight into the incredible life that he led. After a long journey home and a well deserved dinner, the students ended the day with some intense volleyball and tennis matches.
