ISCA Visit The Houses of Parliament, British Museum and Covent Garden 2014

Today was our action-packed second trip to London of 2014. We stepped off the coaches next to old River Thames at the Jubilee Gardens and enjoyed a brisk walk to the Houses of Parliament, with plently of opportunities to take photos of one of the most iconic vistas in England. Once inside Westminster Hall we met up with our guides who explained the history of the building, and the very important relationship between the Monarchy, the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Afterwards, at the British Museum, we saw a wealth of artefacts from various ancient civilizations. The Elgin Marbles from the Parthenon and the Rosetta Stone were just two of the many highlights. Our day in London ended with a walk around Covent Garden in the glorious afternoon sunshine.
