ISCA Limited – ISCA Global 2027
Terms & Conditions Summary
Below is a summary of the terms and conditions which apply to your booking with ISCA Limited for your child attending ISCA 2027. Your child may only attend if they have been offered a place by their school to attend ISCA 2027. You must read our full terms and conditions (referred to as “Terms” throughout this summary) which can be found here before clicking the “ACCEPT” button below.
ISCA strongly advises all families to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip interruption.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to cancel after your Booking is confirmed, the 30% Deposit is normally non-refundable. The exceptions and your refund rights are set out in the full Terms.
All capitalized terms below will have the meaning given to them in the Terms.
The Contract for the Trip is between you and ISCA. The School is the usual point of contact for booking changes, cancellations and routine questions. ISCA may contact you directly about an urgent matter concerning the Student’s welfare or safety, and you may contact ISCA directly about a safeguarding concern or your data protection rights.
The Price is shown in your Booking Confirmation. Where ISCA arranges flights for your School group, the Price includes a provisional contribution towards the flights of accompanying School staff. Once the final numbers of paying Students and accompanying staff are confirmed, we will recalculate that contribution. Your Price may increase or decrease as a result. The Student’s own quoted airfare will not change under this provision. We will notify you of the final calculation before the balance is due. Further details are in clause 15.6 of the Terms.
A Deposit of 30% of the Price must be paid by credit card, debit card or American Express by the deadline in your Booking Confirmation. ISCA makes advance commitments for the Student’s place and begins delivering the programme before the residential stay, including online teaching and preparation. If you cancel after the Booking is confirmed, the Deposit is non-refundable, subject to the refund provisions in the Terms and your legal rights.
The remaining balance of the Price must be paid by credit card, debit card or American Express no later than 31 March 2027. If the contribution towards accompanying School staff flights changes under clause 15.6 of the Terms, we will notify you of the final balance before it is due.
You may cancel the Booking before the Trip begins by notifying the School in writing. The School will pass your notice to ISCA. The cancellation date is the date the School receives your written notice. Any refund will be calculated under clause 12.3 of the Terms.
In the event of valid cancellation of the Contract and provided you have paid the Price in full, you may be entitled to be refunded in accordance with our refund policy as detailed in the Terms. In brief the sum for refund will be determined by the date of valid cancellation:
Month of cancellation in year of the Trip
% of Total Trip Price refunded
April
50%
May
25%
June/July
0%
For the avoidance of any doubt, since the Deposit is non-refundable, no refund of the Price will be payable if only the Deposit has been paid.
If the Student is permanently excluded from their School before the Trip, ISCA may review whether they can still participate. We will consult the School and consider the circumstances before deciding whether to end the Booking. If we end it, any refund will be calculated in accordance with clauses 13.3 and 12.3 of the Terms.
The group organiser (typically the School) has independent control over which students are permitted to register for the programme. Their decision is final.
ISCA may make changes to the Booking that do not alter the nature of the programme, including changes needed because of weather, security, legal requirements or airline schedules. Where possible, we may provide alternatives of a reasonably equal or better standard. If, before the residential programme begins, we propose a very significant change that fundamentally alters the programme, we will inform the School. You may accept the revised Booking or end the Contract by notifying the School within the period stated in our notice. If you end the Contract for this reason, we will refund all sums paid to ISCA for the Booking, including the Deposit. Further details are in clause 9 of the Terms.
The Student must follow the Student Code of Conduct throughout the Trip. If they seriously breach the Code, or their behaviour poses a significant risk to themselves or others, ISCA may take proportionate action, including ending their participation. ISCA will consider the circumstances, consult the School where practicable, and continue to meet its safeguarding and welfare responsibilities. Further details are in clause 5 of the Terms.
The Student must follow ISCA’s Mobile Phone Policy throughout the Trip. A serious breach may result in proportionate action under clause 5 of the Terms, including ending the Student’s participation where appropriate.
ISCA may use genuine photographs and film of participating students and adults in its brochures and other marketing materials, subject to its Privacy Policy and safeguarding procedures. If you do not want images of the Student used for this purpose, please inform the School in writing before the Trip. You may also ask the School to pass on a later request to stop future use and remove images from ISCA-controlled marketing materials where practicable. ISCA does not permit an identifiable Student’s image, video, likeness or voice to be used as source material for generative AI.
We strongly recommend that you arrange suitable travel insurance for the Student as soon as the Booking is confirmed. Please check that it covers cancellation, medical expenses, travel disruption, repatriation and personal possessions for the full period of travel. You are responsible for checking the policy’s terms, exclusions and level of cover.
The School will assign a member of its staff as group leader for the Trip, possibly accompanied by other members of School staff.
You are responsible for ensuring that the Student has a valid passport and the permission required to travel to and enter the UK. If the Student does not require a visa but needs an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), you must obtain the ETA before travel. Requirements depend on the Student’s nationality and circumstances, so please check them and apply in good time. See clause 6 of the Terms.
If the Student requires a visa, you must obtain the appropriate Standard Visitor visa before travel. ISCA can provide a letter confirming the Booking if needed but cannot guarantee that a visa application will be approved. If the Student cannot travel because the necessary documents or permission have not been obtained, please notify the School promptly. The cancellation terms in clause 12 of the Terms will apply.
The Contract is governed by English law. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Booking in the English courts.
