Day Eleven – London and Wicked the Musical

Today was halfway through the programme – we can’t quite believe it – so we had a bit of a lie in and had a late breakfast to catch up on some sleep and relax before an exciting afternoon and evening in London.

Those who have been doing our Future Skills Courses of Entrepreneurship, Public Speaking and Leadership spent the morning getting ready for their final presentation evening on Tuesday whilst everyone else watched a movie and relaxed in their houses.

After lunch, everyone got on the coaches to go into London for the afternoon afternoon. Each school group could decide what they wanted to do in the afternoon before Wicked The Musical. Some were dropped off in Knightsbridge and went to the V&A Museum, The Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and Harrods, whilst others were dropped in Piccadilly and saw the iconic sights of Piccadilly Circus, Regents Street, Oxford Street, Hamley’s, Burlington Arcade, Carnaby Street, Liberty and much more…with of course a little bit of shopping in between!

In the evening, we went to the Apollo Victoria Theatre to see Wicked the Musical. Everyone enjoyed going to a West End Show and experiencing the theatre in London!

We then got back onto the coaches for a late arrival back to campus and went straight to sleep after a very busy day!
