Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

Day Two – Winchester

Winchester Blog

We began our day by being woken up by our ISCA staff at 8:00am. We had some time to get ready and soon after we went off and ate breakfast for an hour. We had an introductory meeting about safety and campus rules by the campus director Ian and by the end of the meeting, the buses were ready to pick us up. We drove about one hour to Winchester Cathedral. We walked to the Wolvesey Castle Ruins and took some fun photos before we went to the Cathedral. We were able to walk around inside and look at some interesting history dating back to almost 1000 years ago. Around 14:00 we were able to get some lunch in town with our friends. We ate at Three Joes Sourdough Pizza and then we got on the coach back home to the dorms. We then had a quick meeting about fire safety and we are heading off to dinner at 7:00pm, with some sports activities afterwards.
