Day Eight – London Free Day

Today my school group and I enjoyed our free day touring various places in London. First, we went to Harrods Department Store and had a great time buying from and visiting many different shops. After that a few of us, including many of my friends and I, went to Pret A Manger which is a shop we have all seen almost everywhere we have gone thus far. Before eating, we walked for a few minutes and ended up eating under a tree right next to the lake in Hyde Park. In that same lake, all of us rode pedal boats in groups of 4 for nearly half an hour. Next, we walked to Buckingham Palace and learned a lot about the royal family from our guide. Finally, we had some free time to shop and eat in Piccadilly Circus. I hope I speak for all of my classmates and friends when I say I really enjoyed today and all that we got to tour and learn about!

After dinner we had the opportunity to play sports that we have learnt from our on campus days, as well as the option to go swimming.
