Day Nineteen – The ISCA Olympics
Today was the final on campus day for everyone here at Charterhouse. This year we continue ISCA tradition and the students competed in the Olympics.
Students were split into teams and were challenged to a series of skills based events. Each team jockeyed for position throughout the day but the games were ultimately decided by the 8 x 100m relay races. Lesotho were crowned as champions and received the prestigious ISCA trophy. After lunch students had some free time to prepare for the big finale: staff vs student football.
In the evening students had a chance to reflect on their time here in the UK with the end of programme presentation. New friendships for life have been made along with fantastic memories. It’s fair to say emotions were ricocheting around the room.
Tomorrow it’s sadly the final day of ISCA 2019 and we are off to Windsor.
