ISCA Final On Campus Day 2015

Today was our last on-campus day, and it certainly was one to remember. It was nice to see the students making the most of their last on campus day, taking pictures, walking around the fantastic grounds at Charterhouse and signing each others’ ISCA T-shirts.

We started off with the annual ISCA Olympics, which required the students to use all the skills they have been practicing during their time with us here. We did rugby throwing, hockey dribbling, cricket bowling and the epic skills race!

Afterwards, Ula and her fabulous Drama group treated us to a memorable performance in the lecture theatre. The spectacular started with a very amusing quiz involving some of England’s most famous historical figures (Henry VIII, William the Conqueror, Elizabeth I and a very theatrical Shakespeare!). We were also treated to a theatrical reworking of Lord Nelson’s last moments at the battle of Trafalgar, and some very creative Shakespearean poems about the staff. Last of all we were all singing along to the brand new ISCA theme song (to the tune of YMCA). All together now, ”I….S….C…A!”.
