Independent Schools Cultural Alliance - ISCA – Summer Programs in the UK

Day Ten – Campus Day Three and Wicked

Todays day at ISCA consisted of various fun activities. The students started off the day with breakfast at 8am. We went back to our houses afterwards to pickup our bags. We then proceeded to the ISCA Garden and we sorted into our assigned country groups for the Charterhouse Challenge. Each group engaged in a scavenger hunt across the school grounds. In order to gain points, the groups needed to locate and decode symbols found across the Charterhouse Campus. Each symbol represented a word, which were later used in the second session in which the teams had to create and improvise a skit including the themes from earlier such as ‘Shakespeare’ and ‘Stonehenge’. We ended our day at Charterhouse with an early dinner and started our night out in London to see a show titled “Wicked” in the Apollo theatre. As each student arrived back into their houses afterward, everyone promptly fell asleep, ready for another busy day tomorrow.
